The World on our Doorstep - Training event

Why international students are strategic in God's economy. Be trained in making friends and sharing Christ across cultures.

When away from home, international students are curious to find out about local culture, eager to make friends and open to new ideas. They are more willing to consider Christ than at any time in their lives.
Churches and student groups in your city have a unique opportunity to change the world for Christ without leaving home. The World on our Doorstep training events will help equip you to reach out to international students with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Speaker: Richard Weston
Richard Weston is the former National Director of Friends International (UK). Richard has developed international student ministry in Oxford and Cambridge and pioneered ministries in a number of other cities in the UK. With his wife Catherine he is now working with Lausanne to help develop international student ministries throughout the world. Catherine Weston has spent 25 years welcoming international students from all over the world into their home. She is particularly interested in helping others to relate effectively across cultures. The Westons are based in Oxford, UK and are the parents of two young adult sons.
