Studies in the Book of Ezekiel
Visions of God is the description that Ezekiel himself gives of what he saw (Ezekiel 1vs1) and what he went on to describe in the book that bears his name. The words were spoken over 2 500 years ago to the Israelite exiles in Babylon. And yet they are words for our world – a world estranged from God and under His wrath, a world in desperate need of the hope that only God can give. Ezekiel’s words are hard hitting words – words that destroy our self-made hopes and dreams. But they are also wonderful words – words of hope and salvation from the Living God who rules the world.
