In term three, we are stepping into the opening chapters of Acts as we witness the birth of the church and the unstoppable spread of the gospel. Jesus has risen, ascended to heaven, and poured out his Holy Spirit, empowering his followers to take the good news from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth.
Over the next ten weeks, we'll follow the first Christians as they devote themselves to God's word, face opposition with boldness, and proclaim Jesus as the promised King. Through these opening chapters, we'll see that the same Spirit who empowered the early church is still at work today, calling God's people to live courageously for Christ and make him known.
